Danielle Weiss
Danielle’s love for helping others started at a young age. As a junior in high school, she went on a mission trip to Jamaica, volunteering at St. John Bosco’s Home for Boys and at a medical center feeding and assisting patients with developmental and mental health concerns. This experience deeply impacted her and served as the foundation for her more than 20-year career in the human services field.
She began as a speech teacher in an early intervention program working with young children. Later, she transitioned to organizing and facilitating recreational programs for adults with developmental disabilities including the Easter Seals Camp Growing Green. There, she attained the program’s ACA Camp Accreditation and continued to build on her already extensive experience working with individuals with special needs and their families and understanding their distinct requests.
In her spare time, Danielle likes to spend her time outdoors, exploring nature and being active—specifically as a runner.
